DAY 1: VILNIUS
Arrival to Vilnius international airport. Pick-up your car the the Budget car rental desk located at the arrival hall zone C. Drive to your hotel for check-in. Time at leisure to explore the city on your own.

DAY 2: VILNIUS-TRAKAI-VILNIUS (60 km)
Breakfast. Today you will discover Lithuania's capital with its charming baroque old town, narrow streets and historical buildings, green forests and lakes. A great afternoon trip to Trakai (28 km west of Vilnius) with its lake castle and wooden old town will make the most of your day.

DAY 3: VILNIUS-HILL OF CROSSES-RUNDALE-RIGA (350 km)
Breakfast. Heading north towards Latvia you may stop at the Hill of Crosses to admire thousands of crosses, erected for the hope of Lithuania's freedom and for commemoration of Soviet regime victims. Further in Latvia be sure to stop and visit the famous Rundale palace and its gardens. This 18th century baroque masterpiece has been created by F.Rastrelli, a head architect of the Russian tzarist court. Arrival to Riga, check-in to hotel, evening at leisure.

DAY 4: RIGA
Breakfast. Spend the whole day wandering around Riga. This ancient Hanseatic city has a cosy old town and an impressive Art Nouveau district, counting over 400 buildings. Being the biggest city in the region, Riga is also know for its trade – a part of it may be observed at the bustling Central market.

DAY 5: RIGA-SIGULDA-PARNU-TALLINN (350 km)
Breakfast. You may drive straight towards Tallinn taking the coastal highway, but we recommend a little detour eastwards. Gauja National Park is an impressive natural sight. The town of Sigulda has ruins of 3 castles and offers spectacular views of Gauja river valley. After crossing the border, do not miss Estonia's summer capital – Parnu. Walk along the sandy shore of the Baltic sea, admire beautiful architecture and then continue to Tallinn. Check-in, evening at leisure.

DAY 6: TALLINN
Breakfast. Tallinn is a medieval treasure. Only few cities in Europe have preserved their medieval charm with limestone houses, narrow cobblestoned streets, red roofs and impressive churches. Refresh yourself on the seaside, combine culture and relaxation in Kadriorg with its beautiful palace, once a summer residence of Russian tsars.

DAY 1: PALANGA-KLAIPEDA (30 km)
Arrival to Palanga international airport. Many visitors say that it is the smallest and friendliest airport they have ever arrived in. Pick-up your car and have a pleasant drive to Klaipeda unless you would like to make a stop in Palanga resort, famous for its promenade and sea bridge. Arrival to Klaipeda, accommodation.

DAY 2: KLAIPEDA-CURONIAN SPIT-KLAIPEDA (100 km)
Breakfast. The old town of the bustling port city of Klaipeda is rather small but picturesque. Take a short ferry ride across the Curonian Lagoon to access the unique natural wonder called Curonian Spit – a 100 km long stretch of sandy dunes and pine forests with scattered fishing villages like Nida and Juodkrante. A part of the UNESCO World Heritage, this is a Baltic States' must.

DAY 3: KLAIPEDA-NEMUNAS RIVER DELTA-PANEMUNE CASTLES-KAUNAS (300 km)
Breakfast. Heading deeper into the continent, you may take the tour of Lithuania Minor – a region of rich Prussian heritage. Visit the town of Silute and then head to Vente cape and Minija village, also called as the Venice of Lithuania, due to a fact that the main road is a actually river and boats are likely used instead of cars. Driving along Nemunas, the greatest river of Lithuania, will open you stunning panoramas and historical sites. Panemune, Raudone, Raudondvaris castles are along the way. Vilkija is a small town built on terraces and offers a splendid view of Nemunas valley. Arrival to Kaunas, check-in to hotel.

DAY 4: KAUNAS-RUMSISKES-VILNIUS (100 km)
Breakfast. Spend a beautiful morning while visiting Kaunas, Lithuania's second largest city and interim capital. Although the old town is small, the city centre shows the prosperity of Lithuanian state between two World Wars. The Freedom Avenue is the longest (1700 m) pedestrian street in the region. The town is crowned with functionalist style architecture of 30s. Continue towards Vilnius and make a stop in Rumsiskes to visit the peaceful Ethnographic open-air museum with typical Lithuanian farmsteads. Breakfast. Travel westwards towards the Baltic coast. Stop in Kaunas along the way to see Lithuania's second largest city and then take the highway to reach Klaipeda. A lovely old town and immense port infrastructure can be seen in this city, called Memel in olden days. Take a pleasant ferry ride to access the Curonian Spit and drive through beautiful landscapes of this sandy peninsula. Accommodation.

DAYS 5,6: CURONIAN SPIT
Breakfast. Summer holidays on the Curonian Spit. Apart from the beach, there is a lot to see and do – why not walk around Nida, climb the Parnidis dune for a stunning view, visit the Amber Gallery and Thomas Mann museum, taste smoked fish and local beer. Travelling around you may stop at the site of shifting dunes and feel yourself as in the African desert or get thrilled by witches and devils on the Raganu kalnas.

Breakfast. Riga is often nicknamed as the Baltic Metropolis. This ancient Hanseatic city has a cosy old town and an impressive Art Nouveau district, counting over 400 buildings. Being the biggest city in the region, Riga is also know for its trade – a part of it may be observed at the bustling Central market. Jurmala, an elegant seaside resort just 20 km away is a great idea for a daytrip.

DAY 10: RIGA-SIGULDA-CESIS (100 km)
Breakfast. This day is perfect to explore the oldest national park in Latvia. Founded in 1973, the Gauja National Park protects pristine natural surroundings and historical sites in Vidzeme region. Sigulda, also known as Switzerland of Latvia, is a picturesque town on Gauja river. Vast forests, impressive castle ruins and small villages can be visited along the way. Cesis is a small yet attractive town with a charming provincial old town. Accommodation.

DAY 11: CESIS-VALMIERA-DIKLI-TARTU (150 km)
Breakfast. Drive through Latvia, stop in Valmiera for its impressive church and visit the beautiful Dikli manor some 20 km out of the main road. This entirely renovated mansion is now turned into a hotel and restaurant. The very first Latvian song and dance festival was held in Dikli. Continuing towards Tartu you may stop in Otepaa for a break. Arrival to Tartu, check-in and accommodation.

DAY 12: TARTU-TALLINN (200 km)
Breakfast. Estonia's academic community is based in Tartu and even the Ministry of Education is located here. In a city where 1/5 of population studies at the university everything is moving. Visit the magnificent old town, the University and its Botanical Garden. If you have time and the weather is great, we recommend a drive to Peipsi lake. Nearly a see, Europe's 5th largest lake is shared between Estonia and Russia. Arrival t Tallinn, accommodation.
