GENERAL CONDITIONS
Booking
1) All bookings should be addressed to:

2) Bookings, cancellations or changes made by telephone are not accepted.
3) Bookings for individual tourists - please mention city, hotel, room category, dates of arrival and departure, name of the traveler, means of transportation and other services requested.
4) Bookings for groups - please mention city, number of tourists, dates of stay, standard of accommodation, request for program, means of transportation, time of arrival and departure and the group name
5) Group bookings will be confirmed within 3 days except for special programs.
6) Individual bookings will be confirmed on the same day or within 24 hours.
7) Groups are considered as confirmed only after receiving a deposit equivalent to 10% of the total price for the group.
8) Vouchers have to indicate that payment is made by “EGO TRAVEL BALTIC”. Services not requested from EGO TRAVEL BALTIC must be paid for directly by the client at the hotel prior to departure.
Cancellations
For groups:
no later than 31 days prior to arrival - free
30-21 days 15%
20-14 days 25%
13-8 days 50%
7-0 days 100% of the net value of the booking
For individuals:
no later than 3 days prior the arrival - free
2 days 50%
1-0 days 100% of the net value of the booking (only the first night of accommodation is charged)
Different cancellation conditions from the above are negotiable, but must be agreed upon in writing. The effective date from which the days to arrival will be counted is the day on which EGO TRAVEL BALTIC receives the written notice of cancellation. The effective dates can only be Mon. to Fri. before 6 p.m. Lithuanian public holidays excluded.
Opera, theatre, concert and other tickets for cultural events once confirmed are non-refundable.
Refunding of airline tickets is according to IATA and individual airline regulations plus a 12 EUR per ticket service charge.
Vouchers
All clients should have a separate voucher for each service requested. Vouchers should state all details of the booking and bear the remark “Payment through EGO TRAVEL BALTIC”. Hotel clients should leave their accommodation vouchers to the hotel reception.
Payment
Groups:
Unless a special agreement has been made in written form, advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost has to be made 35 days before arrival. Balance of payment is to be made 10 days before arrival.
Individuals:
Full payment has to be made 7 days before arrival. All charges for the banks' services (the payer’s bank as well as the beneficiary’s bank) are to be fully paid for by the payer. Personal or company checks are not accepted.
Payment should be remitted in EUR (LTL) to EGO TRAVEL BALTIC account (BIC) No. LT157300010097964936 at Hansabankas, Savanoriu ave. 19, Vilnius, Lithuania. SWIFT HABALT22.
1) Refund is not possible in case the client insists on cash payment at the hotel.
2) All F.I.T. rates are per room per night including breakfast, service charges and taxes.
Please note: in some hotels prices may be without breakfast, but our price list draws special attention to this fact.
3) All F.I.T. prices are net except published ready-made packages and unless there is a special agreement.
4) All group prices are net and do not include any commission.
5) The present conditions of payment are in force unless a special agreement has been made.
6) We keep the right to revise the rates without any notice due to variations of state financial politics and fluctuations of currencies.
Liability
In travel arrangements EGO TRAVEL BALTIC only acts as an agent for contractors, providing the means of transportation or other tourist services. We therefore do not assume liability in case of accident, loss, delay or interference with the tour by force major or other events not engaging our responsibility, especially with regard to program and schedules.
Rates
All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR). All rates are net and without commission unless stated otherwise. Prices do not include transportation to or from client country of origin, visa, insurance and personal expenses. All rates are based on the present economical situation in the Baltic countries and may be changed without notice due to possible fluctuation of rates. EGO TRAVEL BALTIC bears no responsibility for additional expenses caused by weather, strikes, sickness or other force major situations. Once the booking is confirmed, the rates cannot be changed. All transport rates are calculated with existing fuel price (0,9-1,0 EUR/l). In case of significant rise (25%) of fuel price we reserve the right to adjust the transport service rates.
